"Quote" of the Week

"Contrary to Scientology's portrayal of man as a powerful thetan, the Bible indicates that human beings are intrinsically weak, helpless, and dependent on God. The apostle Paul affirmed, 'Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God' (2 Cor. 3:5). Jesus said, 'I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing'" (John 15:5). -Ron Rhodes
